Singapore, in several chapters.
Negotiation, projects, long walks and dinner plans. Studying in Singapore has given me several stories to keep, inside and beyond the classroom.

A strong position, and a useful reflection.
In the El-Tek classroom negotiation, I was part of the three-person seller team. Our written reflection returned to a question that survived the exercise: why did a conversation with several negotiable conditions become so focused on price?
The experience adds a management perspective to my earlier systems-engineering work. A good alternative provides discipline; understanding the other side's priorities takes a different kind of attention. The website now offers two ways to explore that question: compare complete offers, or rehearse a conversation before revealing the full conditions.

S$25, then S$20. A conversation beyond class.
After class, I went with a classmate to Bugis Market. A bag was marked at S$25; we proposed buying two at S$20 each. The seller accepted, and I checked the S$20 amount at the till before paying.
I was pleased with a realistic result: S$5 off, or 20%. The quantity condition mattered as much as the number. A small purchase gave the classroom discussion something concrete to return to.

Ask what the records can answer.
After the Kopi presentation, I returned to its management questions in my individual problem-solving reflection. Outlet-week comparisons could support an investigation; product changes and staff rosters needed more specific evidence.
The evidence studio develops that retrospective idea into a website exercise. Choose the question, assume additional material is available, then compare the next steps and keep your reasoning.

Stronger tools, and a question about what to make.
In a guest-speaker session, I spoke about creativity and useful ideas aligned with longer-term goals. Later, I asked how stronger AI capabilities might change expectations for people entering a field or moving into a new role.
Continuing this website gives me a place to return to both questions: choose something worth building, then make the connection between the idea, its evidence and a reader’s next action easier to inspect.

A question, and room for the reply.
In a NUS guest-speaker session, I asked how leadership, values and career choices change over time. A few days later, I noticed myself listening more in group conversations and waiting for others to finish before replying.
I still enjoy contributing. Giving someone else's thought a little more space is a habit I want to keep practising alongside that enthusiasm.

From a classroom challenge to a Monday meeting.
The spaghetti-and-eggs challenge ended with our tower at 21 cm. The Kopi & Co group project took a different form: data from 42 outlets and an interface organised around the questions for a Monday meeting.
I enjoy keeping both kinds of work in view. One puts materials and teamwork in front of us; the other asks how an analysis can help someone make the next decision. The original project and my later interactive reconstruction can be explored together here.

The ordinary days around the coursework.
Long walks, deciding dinner from what is already in the kitchen, and looking up at a grey sky: these belong beside the coursework too. They give this Singapore chapter its everyday texture.
Questions about weather and daylight became the city observatory. It lets me put Singapore beside Beijing, Ithaca or another place, then return to the small practical question that started the comparison.

Explain a familiar sport to a new audience.
For my Product & Brand Management Quick Take, I studied F1 × LEGO. The question was how someone might take part before understanding the whole sport. The presentation moved from a first interaction to a product portfolio, then to the Miami and Silverstone Drivers’ Parades.
It connected an interest I already follow with a question I can bring to product work: what can a newcomer do first? The website now develops that argument into three participation routes to inspect.

Keep room for the things I want to make.
FFXIV character briefs, small tools and this website give me another way to explore an idea. The creative notebook keeps three images alongside the roles, scene requirements and revision directions I asked for.
I want these interests to remain connected without making them all tell the same story. A gallery can invite a closer look; a game can invite a second attempt; a field note can simply keep a moment worth remembering.
